Library Orientation Tours
Library orientation tours are available by request. Tours average half an hour and focus on orienting students to the library's physical collection as well as providing an overview of the library's on-line resources.

Research Instruction
Research instruction is available by request and can take place in the classroom or at the library. Classes typically average an hour. Advance copies of research assignments and syllabi are appreciated.

Research Guides
Library research guides for academic programs and specific topics are available on the library's webpage. Faculty can request the development of additional guides and/or modifications to existing guides by calling (409)984-6216.
Course Reserves
Faculty are encouraged to place material on reserve for their classes.
Faculty requests for book orders are welcomed. Print and non-print acquisitions are reviewed and orders placed. Faculty will be notified when materials are received. Existing collections, usage patterns and costs affect purchase decisions.

Borrowed titles can be renewed, in most circumstances, a maximum of three (3) times. Exception: A title contains a "hold". |
